Introduction
Join a leading supplier of precision measurement systems as a Field Service Engineer. This hands-on role involves working with multi-sensor metrology equipment at customer sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Install multi-sensor precision measurement systems
- Perform UKAS calibration and accuracy verification
- Complete preventative maintenance and planned service visits
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns
- Carry out system retrofits and upgrades
- Provide hands-on customer support and technical guidance
- Maintain accurate service and calibration records
Requirements
- Field service, maintenance, or engineering experience
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background
- Experience with metrology, CMMs, or precision measurement equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn UKAS calibration standards and processes
- Good customer-facing communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with regular UK travel
